Last Thursday we joined forces with our good friends at Silicon Reef to host a small drinks reception in London to quietly celebrate the publication of our brand new book, People-First Internal Communication.
It was a relaxed, joyful evening with friends, contributors, endorsers and familiar faces from across the IC world - the kind of gathering where the conversations start the moment people walk in and continue long after the party ends.
We wanted to bring together the people who helped shape, support and champion the book. People-First IC has been a true community effort, influenced by the insights, challenges and encouragement so many of you have shared with us over the decades. This was our chance to say thank you.
It was wonderful to see such a mix of in-house and agency practitioners, industry leaders, long-standing colleagues and new connections in the room. Moments like this remind us just how strong and generous the IC community really is, and how much appetite there is for pushing the profession forward.
To everyone who joined us: thank you. Your support honestly means more than we can say, and it genuinely made the night.
And now the book is out in the world, we’re super excited for what comes next — from the virtual launch webinar, to the People-First IC course pathway, to more conversations on The Stuck Record podcast. This feels like the start of something important for our profession.
Here’s to a more human, more thoughtful future for internal communication, and to everyone helping make it happen.
